NIEVE / SNOW

Hola. ¡Qué bonita es la nieve! Seguro que os encantará ver estas fotos. Antes de nada, para que os quedéis tranquilos, deciros que este sábado se limpiaron las jaulas de los perros, se les dió de comer, se les cambió el agua, salieron a correr y además lo disfrutaron de lo lindo. Les encanta la nieve y ninguno temblaba, ni tenía catarro. Está claro que están mucho mejor preparados que nosotros para las inclemencias del tiempo.

Como no se podía ir en coche, empezamos el día camino de la estación del tren. Este era el aspecto de las calles:

Hi. Isn`t snow beautiful! You`ll surely love seeing these pictures. But first of all, do not worry, as all the dog`s cages were cleaned last saturday, they were fed and they all got fresh water. They all came out of their cages and really enjoyed it. None of them was shaking or had flu or caughed. It is clear that they are much better prepared for bad weather than we are.

As cars could not be used, we started our day walking to the train station. Streets looked like this:

Desde el tren sólo se veía nieve, nieve y más nieve...

All we could see from the train was snow, snow and more snow...



Una vez reunidos, un cafelito es indispensable antes de empezar la marcha en 4x4. El sufrido voluntario de la derecha es Mundo, al cual queremos agradecer que nos llevara a la Pontiga porque si no llega a ser por él no llegamos:

Y empezamos la marcha en el 4x4:

Y llegamos a la parte de arriba del camino a la finca. A partir de aquí, por supuesto, hay que seguir caminando.

La bajada estaba preciosa. Mundo nos ayudó a bajar un saco de pienso. Lisa, su perra, también se vino con nosotros:

The path was beautiful. Mundo helped us to bring a bag of food to the shelter. His dog, Lisa, also came with us:




Y por fin llegamos a la pontiga:

Sí que hubo que hacer las cosas un poco más rápido que otros días para irnos antes de que se hiciera de noche, porque todavía nos quedaba el camino de regreso a casa, y la cosa estaba cada vez más complicada. Pero los perrines quedaron atendidos:

We had to do things a bit faster that usual so that we could leave before it was dark, as we still had to make the trip back home and things were getting very complicated on the roads. But all the doggies were properly fed and they all had their daily walk:













Aunque a veces salía el sol, otras veces, la nieve caía con fuerza:

Así que, en cuanto empezó a oscurecer y terminamos la tarea, nos fuimos para casa. Así de bonito estaba el camino al subir.

So, as soon as it started to get dark and we finished our work, we went home. The path looked this beautifulas we were going up:



Y nos volvimos a subir al 4x4 de Mundo, que nos vino a buscar (¡gracias de nuevo, Mundo!):

And we got on Mundo`s 4x4 again. He came to pick us up (thanks again, Mundo!)







Tino y Mónica iban detrás de nosotros, por encima de las rodadas del 4x4, pero al final hubo que remolcarles:







¡Y finalmente llegamos otra vez a la estación del tren, y de aquí a casa! Un día memorable en el que aproveché para estrenar la cámara de fotos que me trajeron los Reyes Magos este año por haber sido tan buena el año pasado y para haceros luego este mini reportaje a los que no pudistéis vivir la odisea. Espero que lo hayáis disfrutado y también que no se repita en mucho tiempo.

An unforgettable day that gave me the chance to use for the first time the photocamera that I got from the three wise men for being so good last year and to prepare this little photo report for those of you who could not live this experience.
